It is an authentic stone-built village house many generations ago. Here you can stay with the hosts and spend a few days as one of the family in a private room. Breakfast is included and you can make use of the common areas such as our spacious living room with fireplace and dining room.

A newly built hostel with capacity for 25 people, fully equipped, perfect for pilgrims, individual travelers or groups, with two shared rooms with bunk beds on the ground floor, as well as two private rooms on the top floor perfect for private, shared and relatives.

Serantes is well located between the rivers, mountains and beaches of western Asturias and eastern Galicia. Our location offers plenty of outdoor activities for the young and young at heart! Discover them for yourself or, if you prefer, design a package of activities such as canoe routes on the eo, bike routes, paddle surfing, etc. through our collaborating company Canoas do Eo.

We are in a privileged location in western Asturias, between the towns of Tapia de Casariego and Ribadeo, with very close access from the A-8 coastal motorway and an hour’s drive from Asturias airport (86 km).

  Fantastic hostel with spacious, clean rooms. Towel, duvet, pillow provided. Good hot showers and clean toilets.

The location is slightly off the Camino but it’s worth the slight detour. It’s so tranquil and calm.

The owners are a really lovely Aussie/Spanish couple who clearly care deeply about the hostel. One even ordered and picked up some food from a local restaurant for us. By the sounds of it, they have big plans for the hostel, including installing a kitchen providing Asian food.

  It was an absolute treat to stay here. It’s a little ways off the Camino but it is worth the stay! The hosts are so kind and accommodating. Since there aren’t any stores to get groceries around, you can order from the restaurant down the street and they can get it for you. Rooms are clean, beds are comfy, and the amenities are lovely.

  Eine supergute und doch auch günstige Unterkunft, nicht nur für Pilger, sondern auch für Pärchen, Surfer usw. Die Gastgeberin und der Gastgeber haben im Handumdrehen Waschmittel und eine Flasche Rotwein aus dem Hut gezaubert. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und bin extra spät, nach dem kostenlosen Frühstück am nächsten Morgen abgereist. Vielleicht komme ich im Sommer mit meinen Kindern wieder, wenn es passt.
